This is presentation is a live portrait of the Empress of Russia as ruler and woman. She is regarded as one of only a handful of world rulers who have popularly been styled “the Great”. She was a politician, diplomat, educator, art collector. She was the founder of the famous Hermitage museum. Her commentary relates her experiences as a mother and lover. Her story is one of incredible tension. Her impact remains relevant to today's world.
